We reserve the right to refuse the sale of a puppy to anyone We feel may put the puppy's health at risk.

Genetic Disease:

We guarantee that no puppy produced by us will ever be affected by a genetic disease! We always genetic test our dogs the moment we bring them home or even days after being born by their breeder! We will genetic test our dogs even if "Parentage" Says they are full panel clear! We will NEVER breed Two Merle's together! Two Merle's can create what is known as a Double Merle. A double Merle can be Blind, Deaf, and have many health complications! If your interested in breeding, please put the life quality of any future puppies before the desire to breed.

Placing a Deposit:

Deposit's are non-refundable, and go towards the price of the puppy. If puppy buyer changes mind, the deposit can be transferred to another litter. Deposit expire 1 year after deposits are made.  Deposits are $500 to hold the puppy of your choosing. All deposits are NON-REFUNDABLE and  go towards the price of the puppy. Deposits can be transferred to another litter up to 1 year. Once deposit is placed on a specific puppy, deposit is no longer transferrable to another puppy or litter unless agreed upon by breeder.  Deposits can be paid through Venmo, Paypal, Cash in person, and or Good Dog. All listed prices are for limited AKC registration unless otherwise states. Breeding rights are an additional fee. 

Deposits can be placed directly on a litter or planned litter. We normally ask not to place deposits till puppies are born.  The reason behind this is to assure the puppy buyer's ideal puppy is in the litter.

 

Deposits can be placed by using the "Buy It Now" button at the bottom of the page, money order, checks, paying in person, or we can send you an invoice to your email. We allow puppy buyers to pick their puppies in the order we receive deposits.

Paying In Full:

On puppy pick-up day, only Cash will be accepted. Puppy buyers can choose to pay for their puppy in full before pick-up or at the time of pick-up. Full payment can be made by us sending you a Invoice to your email or cash in person. Cash or paying through GoodDog.com will only be accepted on puppy pick up unless agreed otherwise.

Puppy Pick-Up:

Puppy Pick-Up day can vary depending on the weather, and other circumstances. We try our best to work around the Puppy Buyer's Schedule! Puppies can be picked up when they are 8 weeks old. We are able to meet at our local airport, or help arrange pet transport,

Cancellations:

We understand and do not criticizes if a puppy buyer for any reason has to cancel on their chosen puppy. Please keep in mind the deposit placed is non-refundable. Cancelling your puppy will not refund the deposit. The deposit can be transferred on a future litter for up to 1 year unless the deposit was placed on a specific puppy.

Re-Homing:

All our puppies come with a promise! That promise is for any reason they Puppy Buyer can not keep their puppy bought from us, we will kindly take the puppy back! We will not judge or question why! All puppy buyers are required to sign a contract stating that the puppy buyer agrees, should he/she ever decide to part with one of our puppies, that the seller will be contacted and have first rights to get the dog back. The puppy buyer agrees that at NO TIME should this animal be placed in a shelter, humane society, rescue, or foster home. The Seller agrees to take this animal back at any time to help the dog find a new home.

Registries:

Most of our litters are eligible to be ABCA, and AKC registered for a fee. We will normally list which registry the litter will be registered with and if possible for Dual Registry. Dual registry is solely up to the litter owner.

Pricing:

All puppy prices listed are base price for limited registration. If interested in Full Registration, please contact us and we will discuss it.

Limited Registration:

We sell our puppies with limited registration. Limited registration meaning, any puppies produced by the limited registration will not be eligible for registration. Our puppies are sold with limited registration with AKC and or ABCA.

Full Registration:

We do allow for Full Registration of our puppies. Full registration is an additional fee and can be paid for at puppy pick-up or later purchased. When paying for Full Breeding rights later on, we require a Clean Bill of health, and a negative brucellosis test from Puppy Owner's Vet. Please discuss interest in breeding with before placing deposits.

Using our Studs:

We will take good care of bitch while in our care. We will sign litter registrations once litter is born. We will provide a repeat stud service to the same dog if the dog does not conceive from the first mating. There will only be one repeat breeding. If this stud is no longer available for breeding, a different stud can be agreed upon if available. We will care for the bitch as if she was one of our own dogs. All females in heat will be boarded on our farm and have daily play dates. Any special needs will be met if possible.

 

Bitch owner MUST agree to paying stud fee in full before any breeding takes place, EVEN IF A PUPPY IS BEING CONSIDERED. Stud fee will be returned once picked puppy is in our hands. Bitch owner must agree to sending the bitch in season and healthy enough to be bred. Bitch owner must have a puppy contract that requires all puppies are returned to breeder if owner chooses not to keep puppy. No puppies produced by this mating should ever end up in foster care or a shelter.

Bitch owner must provide the puppy buyers of the puppies produced, our contact information if they should ever need to return the puppies and Bitch owner can not take them in.

Privacy Polices:

Lake Ridge Border Collies takes every precaution necessary to protect your privacy and personal information. When submitting information using our Application's, we only keep a paper copy in our file cabinet under lock and key. We do not give out buyers information. We keep Puppy Buyers information for up to 5 years for our ABCA and AKC Records.
